Presbyterian Women

An Open Invitation:

The Orchard Lake Community Church Presbyterian Women's Organization is a Missionary Organization.  We meet for fellowship, Bible study and prayer.  We help our Church, our community and we help Presbytery with mission programs all over the world.  We have fund raising projects throughout the year, including a rummage sale and a bake sale.  Your help with any of these is appreciated.  Cash donations are also welcome. Come join us!

Our Purpose:

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:

  • To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study

  • To support the mission for the church worldwide

  • To work for justice and peace, and

  • To build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God's Kingdom

2010-2011 Plans:

The first 'PW' gathering of the fall will be October 20th with a special program.

We are planning Luncheons in December, February, and April and dinners in October and May. Each of these gatherings will have a guest speaker.

There will be a Bake Sale in November and a pie sale in the spring . Also we may have a rummage sale next year.

All the money raised through these events goes to support several local charities and other world wide charities.
